Still here

Here’s a funny thing I’ve noticed about making a commitment to yourself. 

The 11th hour comes about quickly. And in that hour, there are a lot of excuses that can be made. 

Some are reasonable. Plausible. Even reconciliable.

Some are just plain old, and few are legit.

One thing we can still do to combat the lull of this inertia is show up, anyway. And be okay with letting it be what it is. Even if what it is is terrible.
