Today edition.
I received a nice compliment about the universal nature of my writing from someone I respect, which reminded me that the commitment I made to myself to show up every day in 2026 is about more than just me.
I received a reply to an email I sent in August of 2022, reminding me to trust the timing of my life and remember that if something is meant to be, it will find a way, even if a lot of time passes.
The extreme fear and nervous system dysregulation I’ve been feeling for the last few weeks is dissipating. The situation has not resolved itself; however, I have stuck with it, and it seems the situation has given me an opportunity to explore aspects of exposure therapy — an evidenced-based therapy for the treatment of phobias. Yay. (Not.)
